Note to First Time Guests: In addition to the zafu pillows to sit (pictured above) we have some kneeling benches and regular chairs available you are welcome to use.  Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays–EDZC is open for noon sittings for 40 minutes; note some Fridays are Metta (Loving-Kindness) meditations; Sunday programs, Practice Period, Half-Day Sitting Schedules, and other special programs are as indicated below.

9:30 – Meditation, followed by a Celebration of the Life of K
ōbun Chino Otogawa, Discussion, Chanting of the Heart Sutra then Tea and Conversation.

July 30  (Sunday)
9:30 AM – Guided Meditation, followed by concluding Dharma Inquiry Discussion; Tea and Conversation, then a Leaders Council meeting to conclude.


AUGUST

August 4  (Friday)
12 to 12:45 PM — Guided Metta Meditation at our noon sitting.

August 6  (Sunday)
8:45 AM —  Introduction to Meditation

9:30 AM —  Meditation followed by Dharma Inquiry: Jukai Process: Introduction to the Precepts

August 13   (Sunday)
9:30AM — Half-Day Sitting, i
ncluding a Guided Meditation (Mindfulness of the Breath), Further Comments on the Precepts, followed by Tea and Conversation.

April 18  (Friday)
12 to 12:45 PM — Guided Metta Meditation 
at our noon sitting.

August 20  (Sunday)
9:30 AM — Meditation, followed by a 
Way Seeking Mind Talk by Anita Elliott.

August 27  (Sunday)
9:30 AM — Guided Meditation, followed by comments and chanting the Heart Sutra; 
tea  with a Leaders Council meeting to conclude.
